MERRY CHRISTMAS AT THE STUMP

Well Merry and Stumpy Christmas to everyone. It’s been fun at the Stump watching the serious ones with the sad beards turning themselves inside out trying not say Merry Christmas as a return greeting. The Stump has so much fun with this one, really lets you play with their minds.
Fortunately, the Stump resides in a relatively stable and tolerant (for Indonesia) part of the world and Religious Hard Liners of all descriptions are kept fairly much under control. Trouble with the religious nutters they tend to ruin the feeling of Christmas if you let them.
SO FROM THE STUMP
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A GOOD ONE!!

Hi Harry..

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. I hope I didn't offend with the post.

Never been able to get the hang of some Muslims not being able to say Merry Christmas. It is after all just acknowledging the birth of Christ after all. Now Easter I could kind of understand as Christians and Muslims tend to part ways on that particular story but Christmas???

Quick disclaimer..Not big on the Christian Religion as a rule but Christmas as a day of nice feelings, family and spoil the kids...thats just plain nice I reckon... :-)

Stump,

You've been hearing too much fanatics talking. Actually most Indonesian Muslims are moderates, especially in Java island.

Thanks Harry,

For taking the time to comment on this. You are of course correct. Like one comment that differs from the 20 others you were expecting is the one that sticks in your mind.

Please feel free to pull the Stump up (grin) if I get to far off the track.
